New Oil Painting Class

Cliff Austin Fine Art Studio in Littleton
I'm happy to announce my new oil painting class at Cliff Austin's Fine Art Studio in Littleton.

Classes are ongoing for Intermediate to Advanced students, Tuesdays, 1-4 pm. An email to me is all it takes if you're interested!

For details, click on the Private Classes tab at the top of this page.

Beginners:  I have classes for you, too, at Arapahoe Community College (non credit - you don't have to enroll in the college). Check out the ACC Painting Classes tab at the top of this blog.  I hope to see you there soon!

Hello, I'll be interested to have my first ever painting class.... Where is the class at? How do we register? How long is the class for?

Thank you for writing! My classes are a lot of fun and I look forward to having you join us.

The new class you inquired about is an Intermediate-Advanced class. Since this would be your first ever painting class, it would not be a good match for you right away. However, I do have classes for beginners at Arapahoe Community College. These classes are once a week in 6-week sessions, and I do a 6-week series each quarter throughout the year. You can return to this class each quarter to build on information you already learned, without repeating the exercises you completed before. It's a fun, informal, friendly class for serious learners. I give you lots of personal attention, and challenge you with new information each time you attend.

Find information on my Fall series at the "ACC CLASSES" tab at the top of this blog page.

Feel free to write again if you have any questions, and I look forward to meeting you soon!

I am interested in joining your class at ACC, then my daughter wanted to join with me but she is 10. Is there an age range you prefer or would be allowed to join with us.

Hi, Anne,
Thank you for your interest in my class! Although my classes are for adults only, I'm excited that your daughter wants to learn to draw and paint! I'm happy to refer you to an artist friend who does teach children ages 8 and up. She teaches drawing, colored pencil, and watercolor painting.

Her name is Julie Fisher and you can reach her at her blog: juliefisherart.blogspot.com.

I hope this works for you and that I will see you in my ACC class as well. Thank you for writing!
